About BetterMRI
 BetterMRI was created and founded by Kris Giordano.  Kris is an MRI Technologist & Educator, a seasoned MRI Technologist with a career in Radiology spanning over three decades. Since entering the field in 1993, he has gained extensive hands-on experience and witnessed the remarkable evolution of MRI technology—from the confined, dark-bore systems of the mid-'90s to today’s cutting-edge, high-speed, wide-bore digital advancements.  Since transitioning into MRI in 1995, Kris has worked with a diverse range of MRI systems, including GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, Hitachi, and Picker, providing him with a well-rounded and versatile skill set. In 1997 he obtained his ARRT MRI certification and has remained committed to excellence in the field. He is also an active member of the ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists) and SMRT (Society for MR Radiographers & Technologists), in addition to an active membership with the medical imaging management association AHRA.

Beyond clinical practice, Kris has a passion for education and training. His experience in high-volume outpatient centers and trauma hospitals has allowed him to mentor and train numerous technologists in MRI. Recognizing the need for structured exam preparation, he launched an ASRT-approved MRI Basics Registry Review class in 2009, equipping technologists with the knowledge and confidence to pass their certification exams. Ā In addition to his work as an MRI instructor, Kris has been providing on-site MR applications services since 2006, specializing in Philips MRI systems. As the content creator and co-founder of the first-of-kind and most successful online imaging platform MRIQuiz.com, Kris continues to demonstrate his commitment to supporting technologists in mastering the complexities of MRI. Ā With a career dedicated to both clinical excellence and education, Kris continues to shape the next generation of MRI technologists, ensuring they are well-prepared for success in this ever-evolving field.
